Give God Thanks!

How time flies. We are in September already. We made it through the first and second quarter of 2007, and now in the last month in the third quarter. Hasn't God been faithful? Does He not deserve all our appreciation for the gift of life?

Somebody may say, "What has God done?" "My expectation list for 2007, a lot of the bullets still remain unchecked and you are telling me God is faithful", "May be not to me!" "By now, I thought I would have received my miracle child! By now, at least I should have been connected to my spouse, even if not married yet. "Why on earth is my situation still the same even though I have been consistent in my service to God? Why? Why? Why?

The truth of the matter is everybody has one reason or the other in their lives to ask the question, why? But you must realize that if God is your Father, to a large extent He takes responsibility for your life and welfare. His word says, "I know the plans I think towards you, plans of welfare and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope" (Jer. 29:11). Psalm 84:11 also says, "...No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly".

These are two of my anchor scriptures in life. If I don't have that thing now, possibly it's not good for me for now and my Father got my back! So, what should be my attitude? Give Him thanks for the gift of life. Praise Him for sound mind. Appreciate Him for the air I breathe, the strength in my body, shelter over my head, clothes over my body and the gift of acceptance in the beloved and the hope of a glorious future. You see the enemy wants you to keep focusing on your needs so that you walk about with "Needy" sticker on your face. But if you will just shift your focus away from your needs and ponder more on His faithfulness to the people in the past generations and His precious promises in that Manual (The Bible), you will discover that His joy will constantly flood your heart and the things you thought will never come will come to your hand in due time.

I might not know the gravity of the challenge you are facing right now or you are about to face, but I’m pretty sure you are EXPECTED TO WIN! You are built to outlast every storm! 

On behalf of the only woman that causes a “righteous distraction” in my life all the time and my angels – Blessing and Faith, I’m saying I love you pretty good.

HAPPY EASTER

With overflowing joy, we are saying happy Easter to everyone. We are glad to let you know that at Calvary where Jesus was crucified, your pain was traded for gain; shame for fame; lack for plenty; sickness for health; humiliation for celebration; tears for laughter and sorrow for joy. As you celebrate with new mindset what was established on the Cross many years ago, this is our prayer for you:

You will cross the lines of limitation Satan has drawn around you, your family, marriage and career. You will disappoint the expectation of the enemies and step into boundless possibilities.

Starting from now, the beauty, favor and eternal approval of the LORD shall be evident in your life. God will crown your efforts with success this month.

Finally, open your mouth WIDE for God will give you something to shout about in the precious name of Jesus.

Till we communicate with you again, keep on beaming with smiles. We love you pretty good.

Relax, He Got You Covered!

Beloved, wishing you a very interesting month. Even if I'm not sure of anything about you, I'm pretty sure that the reason why you are reading this mail is because God got you covered!

How do I know? Jesus said concerning His sheep in John 10:28 - 30, "...I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than ALL; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."

While driving to work this morning (Feb.1), this scripture was fired into my spirit and I said waoh! This is deep! I found out long time ago that there is no maximum protection elsewhere except in the hollow of His hands. I don't care what country you live in, the Bible says the whole world is full of wickedness (1Jn. 5:19). Certainly, there are evil and atrocities everywhere, but much more than that, there is provision for maximum security for those who are "foolish" enough to identify with the great Shepherd.

I can’t describe how excited I was when I discovered that God got me covered! What an assurance? That I can walk this planet earth with joy and a high sense of purpose without any iota of fear that any mortal man can cut short my life. Simply because there is HE that is greater than ALL!

This month of February, I’m extending the same grace to as many as are willing to visit a bank called, GNB = Grace National Bank, so that you can receive an inexhaustible grace that makes it possible for you to face every day with a full assurance that you are secured, shielded and protected from every evil. The only access to that bank is to invite the great Shepherd into your heart. His name is Jesus! That single decision will make all the difference in your life. I did the same 13 years ago and my life has never remained the same.

If you will do that or you have already done that, then I can confidently say to you again and again, “RELAX, GOD GOT YOU COVERED!”

HOW BIG IS YOUR GOD?

Beloved, as I woke up this morning appreciating God in my heart for the great and mighty things He's done in my life and family just this year, I feel like challenging your heart with this question: HOW BIG IS YOUR GOD?

Many at times when we are faced with a challenge (which a lot of people calls problem), the usual thing is to go around telling people how big that problem is and throwing a pity party. Few of us who remember to turn to God (instead of turning to people) in such situations often bombard His hearing with our view of the problem – it’s size, bigness and frustrating look, whereas God expect us not just to be telling people or Him about the magnitude of the problem, but rather turn to the situation and tell it HOW BIG OUR GOD IS!

No wonder Jesus said, “If you shall say unto the mountain…” (Mark 11:23). In other word, tell that mountain or situation the bigness of your God! I don’t care how big that project or dream in your heart is, if it’s a vision from Him and the ultimate purpose is to bless humanity and glorify God, then go ahead and start! May I ask you, what is that challenge you are faced with now? Is it barrenness? God is bigger than it! Is your marriage going through the toughest financial tension? God is tougher that the toughest financial crisis! Is yours a health issue? His name is Jehovah Rapha – the Lord that heals!

Let me share a testimony with you, few years ago my wife went for a medical checkup and the doctor discovered a health concern which according to them was a serious issue. Not only that, the implications medically speaking is threatening! But hear me; I know my God is bigger than the biggest negative discovery of the smartest doctor in this world! We prayed over it once and that was it! The next time she went for the checkup, the problem that supposed to gulp thousands of dollars had disappeared! God is great!

Beloved, time will fail me to tell you more stories, but my challenge to you is, How Big Is your God? Is He still big enough to open the Red Sea? Is He still big enough to rain down manna from heaven? May I ask you, Is God still big enough to bring water out of the rock in the wilderness of your life? Is your God still big enough to terminate joblessness, incurable disease and financial struggles? Is your God still big enough to raise your dead visions, dreams and career back to life? Hear me! If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders; He’s BIG ENOUGH to carry your relationship, marriage, project, ministry, educational pursuit and you. See what He promised in Isaiah 46: 3-4, “Listen to me, descendants of Jacob, all you who remain in Israel. I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”

I don’t know about you, but I have made my choice to always look at any challenge in the face and say to it, “MY GOD IS BIGGER THAN YOU!” and He has never failed to prove Himself. The truth is, You are bigger and stronger than the strongest challenge if God is your strength. This new month of September 2006, I see God demonstrating His BIGNESS in your life in the precious name of Jesus.

On behalf of my sumptuous Gift – Oludolapo Precious and my angels – Blessing and Faith, I am saying we love you with the love of Christ and we shall forget to forget you.

You Are Expected To Win!

Sometime in the 1920s, Mallory and some members of his team had just lost their lives in a third and daring attempt to conquer Mount Everest. As the few survivors turned tail and returned to England, sorrow and sighing filled the atmosphere.

It was not the first time Mt. Everest had defeated men or claimed human lives. Previous attempts by brave and noble men to scale its heights had ended in funeral processions. Now Mt. Everest had added many more tombstones to the wealth of the graveyard.

However the history of the triumph of Mt. Everest was coming to an end; for there were men whose spirits would neither stoop to defeat nor bow to failure. These were men who would not accept the word IMPOSSIBILITY.

It is said that on the day a heroes’ banquet was held to salute the courage of brave Mallory and all his comrades living or dead, the leader of the survivors stood up to pay tribute to the dead. Around the hall were framed pictures of Mallory and the other braves who had died and on another wall were the massive awe-inspiring picture of Mt. Everest looming over the audience with an air of mysterious invincibility.

The valiant gentleman briefly eulogized the dead and then turned to face the picture of Mt. Everest. With flaming eyes and tears streaming down his cheeks, he pointed one fore-finger at the picture and uttered these immortal words: “I speak to you, Mt. Everest, in the name of all brave men living and those yet unborn. Mt. Everest, you defeated us once, you defeated us twice; you defeated us three times. But, Mt. Everest we shall someday defeat you, because you can’t get any bigger and we can.”

The effect was dramatic. It fired the soul of everyman and sent electricity down their bones and marrows. Ten more expeditions over a period of thirty years failed to conquer Everest. Amazingly! On May, 29, 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first to reach the roof of the world. The highest mountain in the world was defeated!

That was a winning spirit activated by the power of the spoken word. Many people lose the battle of life simply because they lack a winning spirit. A winning spirit is one that refuses to stay in defeat; and will not yield to the pressure and persuasion to dwell in the house of failure forever.

Are you confronted with a challenge – loss of job, debt, marital delay, childlessness, seemingly incurable disease etc. and it seems the “mountain” is insurmountable? Then, I have a word for you! If you will team up with God and speak to that situation continually, just like Mt. Everest was defeated many years ago, that situation will give way! The truth of the matter is, “You are stronger than the strongest situation that confronts you!”

Our prayer for you this month of June is that God of heaven will give you the right words to speak to every challenge in your life and you will overcome everything that tends to limit your advancement in Jesus’ mighty name. No matter what you are going through, never forget, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO WIN!

May You Enjoy God In MAY

The month of May is the 5th month in the year 2006. If you will pause to think, you will definitely see reasons to thank God. Not every one that was alive in April made it through to the new month. But we thank God for your life and family because you made it. No man has ever gone through this new month except the One that created time-Daddy God. He knows where there are pot-holes and miracles.

It's our prayer that you will enjoy His inexhaustible grace and divine protection in the new month. No matter what you are going through, never forget, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO WIN.
 

The reason for this mail is because you are so dear to our heart. We will always forget to forget you, remember to remember us. We love you pretty good!

Beloved, to say we've missed you all is not an understatement. Sorry for not communicating since February, all things have been working together for our good to the glory and praise of His name.
